The Mimasaka (old Sakuto-Cho) museum is located in the town of Sakuto (Japan) approximatively 50 km from Okayama a town situated between Kobe and Hiroshima. It is a district of mountains with many hot springs and thermal establishments. The Peynet museum and its boutique are located in a large area housing facilities for weddings with hotel, restaurant, worshiping temple, amusement park, all under the management of the municipality. On the ground floor of the museum one can find a Carrare marble statue “The lovers with little angels”

The original works exhibited in the museum inspired the Japanese to create mosaics and a large tapestry used as a theatre curtain.
